Benjamin Hsu, M.D.
Dr. Hsu obtained his medical degree from the Stanford University School of Medicine. He then completed a residency in internal medicine at the Stanford University Medical Center. He went on to the UCLA Medical Center where he completed a second residency in dermatology. He is board certified in both dermatology (American Board of Dermatology) and internal medicine (American Board of Internal Medicine).
After his training, Dr. Hsu joined the Palo Alto Medical Clinic, and also served as a Stanford clinical faculty member. He was a surgery attending for the Stanford dermatology residents.
Dr. Hsu moved to Spokane in 1996 has has been practicing here since. He is currently on the University of Washington clinical faculty and has been teaching medical students and physicians in the Spokane Internal Medicine Residency program.
Dr. Hsu’s interests include treatment of skin cancers, cutaneous manifestations of internal diseases and general dermatology.

Mara Geffken, PA-C
Mara received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a Master of Science in Nutrition, both at the University of Washington. After working as a dietitian, she went to the University of Washington MEDEX Physician Assistant Program and became a certified PA in 2003. She has been practicing at Northwest Dermatology since 2003.

Sarah Berger, PA-C
Sarah received her initial medical training as a medical technician in the United States Air Force. After six years of service, Sarah left the Air Force to pursue her education and advanced training a physician assistant. Sarah received a Bachelor of Arts from Western Washington University in 2006. She went on to complete a Bachelor of Science at the University of Washington and graduated from the MEDEX Northwest Physician Assistant program in 2008. Sarah is a Washington State licensed physician assistant and is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
Sarah’s areas of interest include clinical dermatology, soft tissue fillers, BOTOX®, laser hair removal, photodynamic therapy and non-ablative photorejuvenation.
