About Benjamin Hsu, M.D.
Dr. Hsu obtained his medical degree from the Stanford University School of Medicine. He then completed a residency in internal medicine at the Stanford University Medical Center. He went on to the UCLA Medical Center where he completed a second residency in dermatology. He is board certified in both dermatology (American Board of Dermatology) and internal medicine (American Board of Internal Medicine).
After his training, Dr. Hsu joined the Palo Alto Medical Clinic, and also served as a Stanford clinical faculty member. He was a surgery attending for the Stanford dermatology residents.
Dr. Hsu moved to Spokane in 1996 and practiced with the Spokane Dermatology Clinic. He joined the University of Washington clinical faculty and has been teaching medical students and physicians in the Spokane Internal Medicine Residency program. In 2002, Dr. Hsu started his own practice as Northwest Dermatology and continues to teach residents and students.
Dr. Hsu’s interests include treatment of skin cancers, cosmetic dermatology, cutaneous manifestations of internal diseases, phototherapy, and general dermatology.
